The Schools Project

Associates

Rachael King

As a BACP-registered integrative counsellor, I specialize in supporting children and young people aged 3 to 25. My extensive 35-year career encompasses roles such as nursery school teacher and deputy head, providing me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by this age group. I’ve collaborated with primary and secondary schools, as well as charitable organizations, to create non-judgmental, safe spaces where children can explore and express their emotions. By integrating various counselling modalities, I tailor my approach to each individuals preferences, often incorporating different mediums of play to facilitate effective communication and healing.
