Due to recent media coverage, concerning the funeral plan sector being regulated by the FCA, we would like to make the following statement:
Rowland Brothers have partnered with Golden Leaves for 38yrs. During that time Golden Leaves has always been at the forefront of regulation of our industry being a founding member of the NAPFP and the FPA. Regulation is a good thing to ensure that clients are protected.
Golden Leaves Funeral Plans submitted its application to the FCA on October the 21st 2021.
They are both committed to and confident that they will be authorised before July and are working with the FCA to progress the application.
The actuary to the Golden Leaves Trust has reported that the Trust fund remains extremely healthy and is currently 123% funded when measured against its liabilities.
